I've been noticing this for a while now, but did you notice that if you try Level 9 CPU with a full handicap on Air Ride mode, that they reach incredible speeds far better than yours if all of you use the same machine? I played against three CPUs on three different bikes on a 10-lap Checker Knights race. I, of course was on the Wheelie Bike. Despite all I did, the CPU with the Wheelie Scooter managed to keep up with me, and Checker Knights is probably my best course. In Time Attack, I'm ahead of 2nd place by more than ten seconds, and I consider my time "good" but not "very good".  |

Handicap makes you accelerate when you are behind ;p
I figured that while i tried to make good times in drag racing. Racing with the rocket star is by far the best. but racing with the rocket star and have 3 coms with full handicap in the game as well makes you able to keep gaining speed rather than losing =P

That's not what I'm talking about. When I did Warpstar or Meta Knight, they just went ahead and they kept going ahead, even when I hit 4th. It takes me like 3-4 laps just to get closer.

^Then that is because you haven't given yourself high handicap. They obviously still have the opportunity to gain handicap speed from each other so they can race much faster than you who is on a low handicap  Thanks for the info. That is probably why my records are bad on drag races. That is aloud right? You cannot disallow it as it saves the record and you don't cheat. I actually first saw this because i was playing drag races with a friend |

It's the same handicap...all Kirbys had 9, even mine.
